IZMIR – ROME
We are flying to Rome on SunExpress Airlines’ scheduled flight XQ868 at 19:30 after arriving at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, International Terminal, 3 hours before the flight to complete our ticket, baggage drop-off, and passport procedures. We will arrive at Rome Fiumicino Airport at 21:00 local time, followed by a transfer to our hotel in the Rome region with our private vehicle waiting at the airport. Upon arrival at the hotel, we will check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Local Neighborhoods of Rome Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish to may join the optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euros). Our first visit will be Nemi, known for its mountain strawberries, often referred to as the “Strawberry Village,” which hosts an annual strawberry festival. After a surrounding tour in Nemi, where narrow streets open into squares combined with the enchanting lake and valley views, we embark on a historical journey through the “capital of the world,” namely Rome, showcasing its art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine, highlighted by buildings from the ancient period to the Renaissance. The architectural masterpieces that compete with one another attract thousands of tourists each season, while Rome can carry these crowds without overwhelming anyone with its beauty and aesthetics. Among the sights to be seen during our tour in this imperial city, which has witnessed 23 centuries of history and shaped European civilization, are the Colosseum, which became a symbol of the city by hosting gladiatorial battles during the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain, known by the legend that throwing a coin into it guarantees a return to Rome, the famous Spanish Steps, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo. After the tour, we offer free time in the city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish to may join the optional Vatican and Local Neighborhoods of Rome Tour (65 Euros). Our tour begins with visits to Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of Angels, and Navona Square, leading us to Vatican City/Saint Peter’s, the center of the Catholic denomination of Christianity and the world’s smallest country by area. Here, we offer free time at Saint Peter’s Square (Piazza San Pietro), the world’s largest cathedral, where thousands gather for worship and where the Pope greets the public from his throne on special occasions, adorned with statues of 140 saints. After free time, we commence our exploration of local neighborhoods, blending in with the locals in Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto, allowing us to experience true Italian atmosphere with its quaint cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, grocery stores, butchers, and charming shops. After our leisurely walk through the maze of narrow streets, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – NAPLES – (Pearl of Amalfi Sorrento or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME
After breakfast, we head to Naples. Upon arrival, we will conduct a panoramic city tour, covering Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola, among others. After the city tour, we offer free time during which guests can opt for the optional Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euros). This tour begins with lunch at a local restaurant and takes us to Pompeii, located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, which erupted in AD 79, annihilating the city. Pompeii was uncovered by archaeologists starting in 1748 and showcases its vibrant history.
Alternatively, guests may join the optional Amalfi Pearl Sorrento Tour (80 Euros). This tour showcases Sorrento, which combines prehistoric charm with Italian character and allure, featuring tourist shops, stunning coastlines, breathtaking views, and the famous Italian limoncello. After a tour of the city and surrounding area, we will provide free time.
After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome region.
ROME – (Siena Tour) – FLORENCE – (Pisa Tour)
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we set off for Florence. Along the way, guests may join the optional Siena Tour (50 Euros). Siena is famous for its medieval narrow streets, small alleys, and Campo Square, considered the largest square in Europe. After our enjoyable tour of Campo Square and the narrow historic streets leading to it, we continue our journey to Florence, where we will conduct a city tour upon arrival. Known as the center of the Renaissance and the birthplace of Pinocchio, Florence is recognized for its orange-colored dome, which stands out, and the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, the fourth largest church in Europe. One of its remarkable features includes bronze doors known as the “Gates of Paradise,” which depict the stories of prophets mentioned in the Quran. We will also see Giotto’s Bell Tower, once used to summon parliament, the Piazza della Signoria, which has been the political and social center of Florence for centuries, and the famous Ponte Vecchio, known for its antique and jewelry stores. After the Florence city tour, we head to our hotel in the Florence region. Guests interested may also join the optional Pisa Tour (50 Euros) on the way. Upon arrival in Pisa, we will visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Miracoli Square before having a short free time for photos, followed by reaching our hotel in the Florence area. Check into our rooms and enjoy free time to rest.
FLORENCE – (Cinque Terre Tour by Train) – BOLOGNA – VENICE
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we set off for Bologna. Guests can join the optional Cinque Terre Tour by Train (75 Euros) along the way. Cinque Terre, located on Italy’s Ligurian coast, is known for its colorful houses, terraced slopes along the coastline, and charming seaside villages. The area is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with preserved architecture, providing easy access between villages through walking trails and train connections. We will complete our tour with an excursion in one of the five villages from which Cinque Terre takes its name and continue our journey to Bologna. Bologna is known for its medieval architecture, long porticos, and vibrant squares, making it one of Italy’s oldest university cities. Upon arrival, we begin a panoramic city tour, including Piazza Maggiore, the heart of the city, as well as Basilica di San Petronio, Palazzo Comunale, and Palazzo del Podestà. During the panoramic city tour, we will see Bologna’s symbols, the Asinelli and Garisenda Towers (Due Torri), and take a brief photo stop. We will walk through the UNESCO-listed Porticoes of Bologna, feeling the city’s historical texture closely. The city tour will conclude with free time to experience the city atmosphere freely. Afterward, we head to Venice. Upon arrival in the Venice region, we will check into our hotel and enjoy free time to rest.
VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour)
After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time, during which guests can opt for the optional Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour (125 Euros – Vaporetto transportation fees included). In our tour of Venice, we will first visit San Marco Square, San Marco Basilica, the Doge’s Palace, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and historical Campanile Bell Tower. Afterward, we will enjoy a pleasant walk along the narrow canals and bridges that connect the historic streets of Venice. Following this, we will conduct our Colorful Islands tour, traversing the lagoon to observe Venice from different angles, where we will see Lido and Murano islands and visit Burano Island, known as one of the ten most colorful places in the world, famous for its lace. After the tour, we return to our hotel in Venice and enjoy free time to rest.
VENICE – (Verona & Sirmione Tour) – MILAN
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head towards Milan. Guests interested can join the optional Verona & Sirmione Tour (65 Euros) along the way. Our first stop will be Verona. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Verona is home to the second-largest amphitheater in Italy after the Colosseum and the famous house of Romeo and Juliet, portrayed in the beloved tale penned by Shakespeare. We will stroll through Via Mazzini (main street) and Erbe Square, surrounded by many shops, cafes, and boutiques, while enjoying panoramic views including Verona Cathedral. Subsequently, we reach Sirmione, often referred to as the pearl of Lake Garda, welcomed by the 13th-century Scaligero Castle. We will conduct a panoramic tour of the town, noted for its medieval streets, charming buildings adorned with bougainvillea, and the aroma of surrounding lemon trees. After a delightful excursion, we complete our tour and continue our journey to Milan. Known for its fashion, cuisine, opera, churches, and priceless works of art like Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper fresco, Milan is considered one of Europe’s fashion capitals. During our city tour in Milan, we will visit the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, the upscale shopping area La Galeria, and Porta Romana. After the city tour in Milan, we will have free time before transferring to our hotel in the Milan region. Check into our rooms and enjoy free time to rest.
MILAN – (Como Tour) – OUTLET
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we set off to visit an outlet center. Guests interested can join the optional Como Tour (50 Euros) along the way. Upon arrival in Como, we will visit Lake Como, famous for hosting Hollywood celebrities, European aristocrats, and the elite, known for its luxurious lifestyle and natural beauty, enjoying a photo stop featuring the lake’s breathtaking views. After the tour, we will continue our journey to the outlet center, where we will have enjoyable free time for quality shopping at reasonable prices, featuring prestigious brands, chic stores, cafes, and restaurants. Afterward, we proceed to Milan Malpensa Airport for our return flight to Izmir.
MILAN – IZMIR
Upon arrival at the airport, we will complete our baggage drop-off, check-in, and passport control procedures before boarding Turkish Airlines flight TK3450, which departs at 01:00 to Izmir. Arrival at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 04:45 Turkish time marks the end of our tour.
