1st Day IZMIR – BARCELONA
We meet at the international departure terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport three hours before the flight. After completing luggage, ticket, and boarding procedures, we will take our flight to Barcelona with Sun Express Airlines. After arrival, we transition to our private bus waiting at the airport. Then we transfer to your hotel in Barcelona and enjoy free time to rest. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
2nd Day BARCELONA – GIRON – FIGUERAS & DALI MUSEUM
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for the Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum tour. We will visit the city of Girona, noted for its medieval architectural structures, large cathedral, and Jewish quarter. Following this, we will visit the village of Figueras, where the famous painter Dali was born, and the Dali Museum. Next is a panoramic city tour of Barcelona. During the tour, we will see famous locations such as Plaza De Catalunya, La Rambla Street, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Plaza De Espana, and the world-renowned architect Antoni Gaudí’s work, La Sagrada Familia Basilica (photo stop will be provided). After the tour, we transfer back to your hotel in Barcelona and enjoy free time to rest. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
3rd Day BARCELONA – VALENCIA
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Valencia. Upon arrival, we will conduct a panoramic city tour, during which we will see the Valencia Cathedral, the Micalet Bell Tower, known as one of the city’s symbols, and the fertile orchards famous for orange groves. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Valencia and have free time to rest. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
4th Day VALENCIA – GRANADA – ALHAMBRA
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Granada. Upon arrival, we will have a panoramic city tour, visiting Grand Via, La Rambla, and the City Hall in the historic Andalusian/Granada streets among artifacts from the Umayyad and Abbasid periods. Afterwards, for our guests (depending on the palace’s availability), we will take a tour of the Alhambra Palace (excluding the harem entrance). The palace, known for its Arabesque architecture, pools, and gardens, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Granada and enjoy free time to rest. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
5th Day GRANADA – CORDOBA – SEVILLE
After breakfast at the hotel, we proceed to Cordoba. We will explore Cordoba, which was established during the Roman Empire, experienced the peak of Islamic culture during the 10th century under the Umayyads, and became one of the largest and most advanced cities in Europe. We will see the significant structures like the Roman Bridge and the unique architecture of the Cordoba Mosque (panoramic) during our panoramic city tour, famous for its rich historical texture, narrow Arab streets, and courtyards adorned with flowers. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Seville and enjoy free time. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
6th Day SEVILLE – RONDA – SEVILLE
After breakfast at the hotel, we begin the panoramic city tour of Seville, which includes the Spain Square and the Golden Tower. After the tour, we take our guests to Ronda. Ronda is significant as the last castle delivered to the Spaniards by the Umayyads when they withdrew from the peninsula; it thus bears traces of both Islamic and Christian influences. It is a typical white Andalusian village built on both sides of a steep limestone gorge and is home to the world’s oldest bullfighting arena. Places to visit include Casa Del Rey Moro, Palacio Mondragon, and Puento Nuevo. Following the tour, we transfer back to your hotel in Seville and enjoy free time to rest. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
7th Day SEVILLE – TOLEDO – MADRID
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Toledo for a panoramic city tour. Toledo; founded in 590 BC by the Jews, is now home to people from the three major religions living together peacefully and is known as the city of knights. The Tajo River, the largest river on the Iberian Peninsula, flows through the city. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Spain for a long period. Because it is one of the world’s largest medieval cities, it is included in the UNESCO World Heritage list and is protected. The author of Don Quixote, Cervantes, was born in this city. Among the places we will see are San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos (Damask work), and workshops where gold craftsmanship is done. After this, we will move on to the panoramic city tour of Madrid. The sites to be visited include some of the city's busiest squares, Puerto del Sol, historic Plaza Mayor, the main street Paseo de la Castellana, the world-renowned Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, the bullring, Gran Via, and Plaza de España. After the tour, we transfer to your hotel in Madrid and enjoy free time to rest. Accommodation will be at our hotel.
8th Day MADRID – IZMIR
After breakfast at the hotel, we will check out of our rooms and transfer to the airport at the time indicated by the guide. After luggage, ticket, and customs procedures, we will take our flight back to Izmir with Sun Express Airlines. Our tour ends upon arrival at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport.
