IZMIR – MADRID – (Flamenco Show) We gather at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport's International Terminal 3 hours before our flight to complete baggage check-in, check-in, and passport control procedures. Then we fly to Madrid at 10:35 AM on Pegasus Airlines flight PC1529. After arriving at Madrid Barajas Airport at 2:00 PM local time, we set off with our private vehicle for our Madrid city tour. Madrid is the capital of Spain and the third-largest city of the European Union, recognized as the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. During our city tour, we will see panoramic views of Plaza Mayor, Paseyo de la Castellana, the bullfighting arena, Gran Via, Plaza de Espana, the Royal Palace, and Puerto de Alcala. At the end of the Madrid city tour, guests who wish can join our extra Flamenco Show program (60 Euro). Known as the outcry of the lower class to the upper class and the dance that speaks, the world-famous Flamenco show takes place after which we arrive at our hotel in the Madrid region. After our arrival at the hotel, we check into our rooms and have free time to rest. MADRID – (Toledo Tour) – CORDOBA – (Great Mosque & Cathedral Tour) – SEVILLA After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head to Cordoba. Toledo, founded by Jews in 590 BC and known as "the city of knights", is one of Spain's most important historical and tourist cities where people of the three major religions live together peacefully. The Tajo River, the largest river in the Iberian Peninsula, flows through the city. The city was the capital of the Spanish Kingdom for a long time and is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List due to being one of the largest medieval cities in the world. Miguel de Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. Among the places we will see on our tour are the Toledo Cathedral, which took about 270 years to build and is now the country’s third-largest cathedral housing some of the world’s most expensive works, the San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos workshops where gold craftsmanship is done. After our tour, we continue our journey towards Cordoba. During our panoramic Cordoba city tour, we will discover Cordoba, which was established during the Roman Empire and was the largest city in Europe under Islamic rule in the 10th century. In the city center, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984 and where we can still see Islamic influences today, we will see the Alcazar De Los Reyes Cristianos, the Royal Palace, and the Roman Bridge. In this tour, we will visit the Great Mosque & Cathedral, which is one of the three largest mosques in Islamic history and a significant representation of Spain’s Maghreb past. This structure, which has fluctuated between Islam and Christianity for centuries, is currently used as a Catholic church. After the tour, we head towards our hotel in the Sevilla region. After arriving, we check into our rooms and have free time to rest. SEVILLA – (Sevilla Masterpieces Tour) – GRANADA – (Alhambra Palace) – ALICANTE After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we move towards Granada. Guests who wish can join our extra Sevilla Masterpieces Tour program (55 Euro) on the way. Sevilla, the most populous and developed city of Andalusia, owes its exotic and rich cultural history to the Moriscos, North African Muslims who ruled the region. We explore Sevilla with its stunning cathedrals, squares, palaces, museums, towers, and churches. During our tour, we will see the Plaza de Espana (Spain Square), where some scenes from Star Wars 2 were filmed, the Torre del Oro (Golden Tower) which was built for defense but also used as a prison, the Sevilla Cathedral which is the world’s third-largest Gothic cathedral and has been on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1987, and Maria Luisa Park. After our tour, we continue our journey to Granada. Granada, built on fertile land at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, is one of the most touristic cities in Spain. During our panoramic tour of the city, which has been predominantly influenced by the Romans and the Umayyads throughout its rich history, we will see the monument of Queen Isabella and Christopher Columbus, Grand Via, La Rambla, and the Town Hall Square among the historic streets of Andalusia/Granada. After the city tour, guests who wish have free time to join the Alhambra Palace Tour (65 Euro). We get to visit the Alhambra Palace, which is not only one of the most extraordinary memories of Andalusia but of all Islamic history, known for its Arabesque architecture, courtyards, and gardens. “Entry fee included” (subject to palace availability and excluding harem entrance. Advance reservations suggested at registration). After the tour, we head towards our hotel in the Alicante region. After we arrive, we check into our rooms and have free time to rest. VALENCIA – (Valencia Masterpieces Tour with Paella Lunch) – BARCELONA – (Barcelona Evening Tour) After breakfast and checking out, we head towards Barcelona. Guests who wish can join our extra Valencia Masterpieces Tour with Paella Lunch program (65 Euro) en route. In our tour, we will see the Gothic Cathedral, Valencia Cathedral, the medieval walls surrounding the old town, Torres de Serranos, the Reina Square, the Marques de dos Aguas Palace, and Town Hall Square. In Valencia, the birthplace of the world-famous Paella, we will have lunch at a local restaurant, after which we will visit Valencia Central Market, known as Europe’s largest indoor fresh food market, offering an impressive atmosphere with its grand dome and colorful glass panels and providing a wonderful taste and visual experience for visitors as a true market where locals do their daily shopping. Following this, we offer free time for personal activities and exploration. After this free time, we continue our journey towards Barcelona. Upon arrival in Barcelona city center, guests who wish can join our extra Barcelona Evening Tour program (40 Euro) during free time. In this walking tour, we will see important historical and romantic regions of Barcelona, such as the Plaza De Catalunya and La Rambla, illuminated by evening lights. After the tour, we offer free time. After the tour ends, we transfer to our hotel in the Barcelona region. We check into our rooms and have free time to rest. BARCELONA – (Barcelona Icons Tour) – (Figueres & Dali Museum Tour) – (Barcelona Local Neighborhoods Tour) After breakfast, we offer free time throughout the day. During this free time, guests who wish can join our extra Barcelona Icons Tour program (65 Euro). Our tour will start with a visit to Carmel Hill, where we can enjoy the magnificent view of the city, and then we will visit Park Guell, designed and built by Antoni Gaudi. “Entry fee included”, Park Guell, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984, takes visitors into a fairytale land with its vibrant colors and nature-inspired figures, and we will have free time for photos and exploring. Following this, we will see Casa Mila (Gaudi’s House), one of Gaudi's most important contributions to urban architecture and stroll around the area of La Sagrada Familia to complete our tour. After the tour, we will have free time in the city center, and guests who wish can join the Figueres & Dali Museum Tour (85 Euro) program. We will head to Figueres to visit the Dali Museum. In Figueres, where Salvador Dali was born and where he designed a theater building to house his works while he was still alive, we will conduct a brief exploration of the surrounding area before visiting the Dali Museum (entry fee included in the tour price) and embarking on a guided art tour through 4000 works of Dali. After the tour, we return to Barcelona city center and offer free time. If desired, guests can join the Barcelona Local Neighborhoods Tour (45 Euro). This tour will feature Barcelona Cathedral, Paral-lel and Gothic neighborhoods, El Born, Town Hall, Plaza Real, and the market-La Boqueria before we return to our hotel in the Barcelona region. BARCELONA – (Outlet Tour) – IZMIR After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head to Barcelona Airport for our return flight to Izmir. Guests who wish can join our extra Outlet Tour (40 Euro) program en route. We will have free time for shopping at the outlet center, which hosts chic stores of world-renowned prestigious brands, cafes and restaurants, and areas for personal activities. After our shopping, we complete the outlet tour and continue our journey to the airport. Upon arrival at the airport, we complete our baggage check, check-in, and passport control, and then we fly back to Izmir on Pegasus Airlines flight PC1528 at 14:50. We arrive at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 19:05 local time, marking the end of our tour.
