DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – VENICE
Meeting at 08:30 in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the Istanbul Airport International Terminal. After the ticket, baggage, and passport procedures, we will fly to Venice at 11:30 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1871. Arrival in Venice at 13:05 local time and then we will move for the "Venice City Tour". During this tour, we will visit the San Marco Cathedral and Square, Doge's Palace, Grand Canal, Bridge of Sighs, and Rialto Bridge. Guests wishing can participate in the optional "Gondola Tour (€60)". In this tour, which is one of the symbols of Venice, you will have the chance to see the canals of Venice with traditional gondolas. At the end of the tour, we will head to our hotel. After checking into our rooms, free time. Overnight stay at our hotel in Venice.
DAY 02 VENICE – FLORENCE – MONTECATINI
After breakfast in the morning, we will vacate our rooms and then depart for Florence with our private vehicle. After approximately 2.5 hours of travel, we will arrive in Florence. In Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance, we will have our "Florence City Tour", where we will visit the Duomo Cathedral (Santa Maria Del Fiore), Baptistery, Old Palace, Ponte Vecchio, and Piazza Signoria. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in Montecatini. Upon arrival at our hotel, we will check in and have free time. Overnight stay at our hotel in Montecatini.
DAY 03 MONTECATINI
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart with our private vehicle for the "Siena & Pisa & San Gimignano Tour". We will see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, which is considered a miracle for still standing despite its 5.5 meters inclination. Next, we will visit Siena, which is known for the Palio horse races and showcases the beauty of the Middle Ages. After that, we will visit San Gimignano, a fortified town used by the Roman Empire due to its elevated position. We will complete our tours and return to our hotel. Overnight stay at our hotel in Montecatini.
DAY 04 MONTECATINI – ROME
After breakfast at the hotel, we will vacate our rooms and depart for Rome with our private vehicle. After approximately 2.5 hours of travel, we will arrive in Rome. Upon arrival, we will move to the city center for our "Rome City Tour". Important places we will see include Castel Sant’Angelo, Venice Square where Mussolini addressed the public, the II. Vittorio Emanuele monument, St. Peter's Basilica and Square, Trevi Fountain, Via Del Corso, and the Spanish Steps. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel. After checking in to our rooms, free time. Overnight stay at our hotel in Rome.
DAY 05 ROME – CIVITAVECCHIA ( EMBARKATION ON THE SHIP)
After breakfast, we will vacate our rooms and have some free time until the time set by our guide. Then, we will depart with our private vehicle for the "Castel Gandolfo Lake Region & Nemi Village & Outlet Tour". We will start our visit at Castel Gandolfo, where the Pope's summer palace is located, with its magnificent view of Lake Albano. After arriving at Nemi Village, we will take a pleasant walking tour. After our walking tour, we will have free time. After gathering, we will move on to one of Italy’s most famous outlets, Castel Romano Outlet, and have free time for shopping. After the tour, we will transfer to the Civitavecchia port where our Costa Smeralda ship is located. After checking in to the ship, we will have some free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:30. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 06 GENOA
Our ship will dock at Genoa port at 08:30 in the morning. After having breakfast, we will board our private vehicle for the “Genoa City Tour”. The neighboring port city of Savona, Genoa, was once the capital of an important maritime kingdom that ruled over the Mediterranean geography including Istanbul. We will see the important sites like San Lorenzo Cathedral, the Doge's Palace, and Christopher Columbus's house. After the tour, we will return to the ship. Guests wishing can join the optional "Santa Margherita & Portofino (€80)" tour organized by our guide. Our first stop is Santa Margherita Ligure, known for its charming atmosphere by the sea. After a short walk through the palm-lined beach, we will explore the port and the quaint streets. During the short free time given here, guests can enjoy a coffee break by the seaside. Afterward, we will take a ferry ride to Portofino, known for its colorful houses and luxury yachts. In this small but impressive town, we will visit the port area and scenic viewpoints around San Giorgio Church. After a quick photo stop, guests can have lunch at seafood restaurants or have a little free time for shopping. After our visit to Portofino, we will return to the ship. Our ship will depart at 17:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 07 MARSEILLE
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 09:00. After breakfast, we will vacate our rooms and board our private vehicle for the “Marseille City Tour & Aix En Provence Tour”. We will start our tour in Marseille, an important marine city, by visiting the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral” which is located on a high hill. After this visit, we will see Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old city, Hotel de Ville, and the marina area. Next, we will head to Aix-en-Provence, located 40 minutes away from Marseille. We will start with the famous St. Savior Cathedral from the 12th century with its Romanesque facade and its covered arched path. After that, we will enjoy a pleasant stroll through the old town where we will see the antique inns and the Mazarin district designed by the brother of Cardinal Mazarino during the 17th century. Our ship will depart at 18:00. Dinner and overnight on the ship.
DAY 08 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:00 in the morning. After breakfast, we will complete our disembarkation procedures and transfer to the airport with our private vehicle. After completing passport and baggage procedures, we will fly to Istanbul with Turkish Airlines flight TK1854 at 12:10. Arrival at Istanbul Airport at 16:40 local time. End of our tour.
