IZMIR – BARCELONA
We will be flying to Barcelona at 18:55 on SunExpress Airlines flight XQ894 after completing our baggage check-in, ticket, and passport control procedures starting from 3 hours before our flight at the International Departures Terminal of Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. We arrive at Barcelona Airport at 21:35 local time, where we will be transferred to our hotel by our vehicle waiting at the airport. Check-in to the rooms and free time to rest.
BARCELONA – (Barcelona Icons Tour) – (Barcelona Local Neighborhoods Tour) – (Fiesta Barcelona Tour)
After breakfast, we will have a full day of free time. During this free time, our guests who wish may join the optional Barcelona Icons Tour (65 Euros). Our tour will start by visiting Park Guell, designed and built by Antoni Gaudi, after ascending Carmel Hill, where we can enjoy the magnificent view of the city. “Entry fee included”, Guell Park, which was included in UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List in 1984, takes visitors to a fairy tale world with its vibrant colors and nature-inspired figures, and we will provide free time for photos and a surrounding tour. Afterwards, we will see Casa Mila (Gaudi's House), one of Gaudi’s most important architectural contributions, and complete our tour with a walk around La Sagrada Familia. Guests participating in the Barcelona Icons Tour will have free time to join the optional Barcelona Local Neighborhoods Tour (45 Euros) if they wish. This tour will include Barcelona Cathedral, Paral-lel and Gothic neighborhoods, El Born, City Hall, Plaza Real, and the market-La Boqueria. After this tour, during the free time, our guests may also optionally join the Fiesta Barcelona Tour (55 Euros). In this tour, we will visit Poble Espanyol, an open-air museum and festival village concept created for the 1929 World Exhibition, which brings together examples of typical architecture from different regions of Spain, craft workshops, artworks, and traditional cultural elements. Poble Espanyol offers a unique experience for visitors to experience all the characteristic aspects of Spain, showcasing various music, dance, street performances, and cultural activities throughout the year, and serves as a restaurant venue. After our visit and the free time provided, we will return to our hotel in the Barcelona area.
BARCELONA – (Girona & Figueres & Dali Museum and Outlet Tour)
After breakfast, we will offer a full day of free time. During this time, our guests who wish may join the optional Girona & Figueres & Dali Museum and Outlet Tour (95 Euros). Our first visit will be Girona, the largest city in Catalonia, enchanting visitors with its museums, galleries, Gothic architectural works, picturesque cobbled narrow streets, and the ancient walls that rise above them. During our visit to Girona, we will photograph the colorful houses along the Onyar River that divides the city and take a walk along Libertat Avenue, which leads into the walled old town and has every exit leading into labyrinth-like narrow streets. Our tour will conclude after a panoramic view of Girona Cathedral, and we will head to Figueres to visit the Dali Museum. Figueres, the birthplace of Salvador Dali, hosts the museum designed by Dali himself to showcase his works. After a brief tour around Figueres, we will visit the Dali Museum (entry fee included in the tour price) and embark on an art tour with our guide to see Dali’s 4000 works. In the final section of our tour, we will visit the Outlet Center, which features many prestigious and famous brand stores, cafes and restaurants, and personal activity areas, where we will offer free time for enjoyable and affordable shopping. After this offered free time, we will complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Barcelona area.
BARCELONA – MADRID
After breakfast, we will travel to Madrid. Madrid, the capital of Spain and the third largest city of the European Union, is considered the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. During our city tour in Madrid, we will see panoramic views of Plaza Mayor, Paseyo de la Castellana, bullfighting arena, Gran Via, Plaza de Espana, Royal Palace, and Puerto de Alcala among the statues, monuments, and natural beauties that blend with modern architecture. After the city tour, we will have a short free time before being transferred to the hotel in the Madrid region. Room check-in and free time to rest.
MADRID – (Toledo Tour) – GRANADA – (Sacremento & Gypsy Show)
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will head towards Granada. Our guests who wish may participate in the optional Toledo Tour (50 Euros) on this route. Once we arrive in Toledo, we will organize our tour. Established by Jews in 590 BC, Toledo is one of the most important historical and tourist cities of Spain, where people of the three major religions live together in peace today, also known as the "city of knights". The longest river in the Iberian Peninsula, the Tajo flows through the city. Toledo, which was the capital of the Spanish Kingdom for a long time, is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List due to its status as one of the world's largest medieval cities. Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. Panoramic views of Toledo Cathedral, which took approximately 270 years to build and is considered the third most important and housing the world's most expensive works, along with San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos (Damask Crafts), workshops, and shops where gold craftsmanship is carried out will be seen during our tour. After the tour, we will continue our journey to Granada. Upon arriving in Granada, we will conduct a panoramic city tour. Located on the fertile lands at the foot of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Granada is one of the most touristic cities in Spain. Historically influenced predominantly by the Romans and Umayyads, Granada is home to the Alhambra Palace. During our panoramic tour, we will see Kraliçe Isabelle and Christopher Columbus Statue, Grand Via, La Rambla, and City Hall among the Endulüs/Granada streets filled with historical artifacts from the Umayyad and Abbasid periods. After the city tour, we will be transferred to the hotel. After checking in and taking time to rest, our guests may optionally join the Sacremento & Gypsy Show (45 Euros) in the evening. In Sacramonte, one of the oldest settlements in Granada, where the white houses cling to one another among the winding, steep steps and alleyways, we will watch the Gypsy Show while being able to catch a distant view of the red walls of the Alhambra. After the tour, we will return to our hotel.
GRANADA – (Alhambra Palace) – MALAGA – (Ronda Tour) – SEVILLA
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, our guests who wish may join the optional Alhambra Palace Tour (65 Euros) during the provided free time. We will visit the famous Alhambra Palace, which is one of the most extraordinary monuments not only of Andalusia but of the entire Islamic history, known for its Arabesque architecture, pools, and gardens. "Entry fee included" (the tour depends on the availability of the palace and excludes harem entry). At the end of the tour, we will head to Malaga. Our guests who wish may also join the optional Ronda Tour (50 Euros) on this journey. Ronda is famous for its narrow winding streets and lime-washed houses and is situated on a bluff divided by the El Tajo Canyon. The Guadalevin River flows at the bottom of the canyon at a depth of 120 meters. Among the panoramic sights we will see during our city tour are Puento Nuevo (New Bridge), the best viewpoints for the river, Plaza De Toros, Old Town, Santa Maria la Mayor Church, and Mondragon Palace. After the city tour of Ronda, we will continue our journey to Malaga. Upon arriving in Malaga, we will conduct a panoramic city tour. As the 2nd largest city in Andalusia and the 6th in all of Spain, Malaga is located along the Costa Del Sol coastline. Thanks to its advantageous location, it is one of the important holiday routes on the Mediterranean. During our panoramic city tour, we will see the Malaga Cathedral, which was built as a sign that Muslim rule had ended and remains incomplete to this day; Palaza de la Merced; and Torre de la Vela, which has become a symbol of Malaga. After the Malaga city tour, we will travel to Sevilla. Upon arriving at the Sevilla regional hotel, we will check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
SEVILLA – CORDOBA – (Córdoba Mosque & Cathedral Tour) – SEVILLA – (Flamenco Show)
After breakfast, we will head to Cordoba. During our panoramic Cordoba city tour, we will explore Cordoba, which was established during the Roman Empire and was the largest city in Europe under the Islamic state in the 10th century. In the city center, which was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1984, we will see the Alcazar De Los Reyes Cristianos, the Royal Palace, and the Roman Bridge panoramically, where we can still observe Islamic influences today. After our visit to Cordoba, our guests may optionally join the Córdoba Mosque & Cathedral Tour (45 Euros). During this tour, we will visit the Córdoba Mosque & Cathedral “entry fee included”, which is the 3rd largest mosque in Islamic history and one of the greatest examples of Spain's Moorish past. The structure that has shifted between Islam and Christianity for centuries is used as a Catholic cathedral today. After this tour, we will return to Sevilla and organize our city tour. As the most populous and developed city in Andalusia, Sevilla owes its exotic and rich cultural history to the period of Muslim dominance by the Moors. We will discover Sevilla among beautiful and majestic cathedrals, squares, palaces, museums, towers, and churches. During our tour, we will see the Plaza de Espana (Spain Square), where some scenes from Star Wars Episode II were filmed, the octagonal Torre del Oro (Gold Tower), originally built for defense but later used as a prison, the world’s 3rd largest Gothic cathedral and UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987, the Sevilla Cathedral and Giralda Bell Tower, and María Luisa Park panoramically. After the tour, during the provided free time in the city center, our guests may optionally join the Flamenco Show (60 Euros). The globally renowned Flamenco show, known as the cry of the lower class to the upper class, will be enjoyed by our guests, after which we will transfer to our hotel in the Sevilla region. SEVILLA – SINTRA – CABO DA ROCA – ESTORIL – CASCAIS – LISBON – (Dinner Lisbon Night Tour) – (Fado Show)
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will head towards Lisbon, and upon arrival, we will conduct our Atlantic Coast Tour, which includes Sintra, Cabo da Roca, Estoril, and Cascais villages. Our first stop will be the village of Sintra. Sintra will greet us with its boutique shops, fairytale-like colorful and ornate houses, and cobbled streets. However, the most significant feature that allowed the village to enter the UNESCO World Heritage List is its Romantic Era architectural monuments and buildings. After our tour of Sintra, our next destination will be Cabo da Roca, referred to as “The End of the World,” the westernmost point of the European continent. After a short break to take photos of the famous beaches, we will continue with panoramic tours of Cascais, a fishing village, and Estoril, known for its thermal hotels, parks, golf courses, and as the setting for the Casino scenes from the first Bond novel, Casino Royal. At the end of the tour, we will reach the city center of Lisbon. We will offer a free time during which our guests may optionally join the Dinner Lisbon Night Tour (55 Euros). In this tour, we will first head to the banks of the Tagus River and panoramically follow the Cais do Sodré and Ribeira das Naus routes. The illuminated coastline presents a delightful view of Lisbon's modern face at night. Then we will view the external surroundings of Alfama’s slopes, which were not included in our daytime visit. The illuminated silhouette of the narrow streets allows us to observe the traditional texture of the city at night. We will continue to see the Praça do Comércio square's evening ambiance panoramically. The square's yellow colonnades and the riverside lighting create one of Lisbon’s most impressive night views. After the night tour, we will conclude with dinner at a local restaurant and provide free time. During this free time, our guests may optionally join the Fado Show (45 Euros). In this tour, we will listen to Fado music, which emerged from the emotional and sorrowful laments of sailors’ wives, and is world-renowned. After the tour, we will transfer to our hotel in the Lisbon area, check into our rooms, and have free time to rest.
LISBON – (Lisbon Masterpieces Tour) – OBIDOS – PORTO
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will move towards Obidos. During this journey, our guests who wish may join the optional Lisbon Masterpieces Tour (55 Euros). Lisbon, the capital of Portugal and the 6th most visited city in Europe, has a historical background extending to the 1200s and has witnessed the rule of Phoenicians, Romans, North African Muslims, and ultimately the Portuguese. During our Lisbon tour, we will see Rossio Square, the historic district of the city where St. George's Castle is located, and the Santa Justa Lift, among other landmarks. After the city tour, we will have free time in the city center. Continuing our tour, we will see the Belem Tower, symbolic for Portugal since it was built during the age of geographical discoveries, and the Monument to the Discoveries, with free time for photo opportunities. Next, we will explore Avenida de Liberdade, known as the Champs-Élysées of Lisbon, famous for its cafes, quality shops, and restaurants, which will provide us the opportunity to discover Lisbon from different angles. After the tour of Obidos, known for its medieval character with its walls and cobbled streets, we will head towards Porto. The sights in Obidos that we will see during our visit include the Roman-origin Obidos Castle, St. John the Baptist Church, and Rua Direita, the main street attracting the most visitors. After the Obidos Tour, we will continue to Porto. Upon arrival at the Porto regional hotel, we will check into our rooms and have free time to rest.
PORTO – (Porto Masterpieces Tour) – IZMIR
After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will head to Porto Airport for our return flight to Izmir. Our guests who wish may participate in the optional Porto Masterpieces Tour (55 Euros) during this journey. Porto is a historic city located along the Douro River in northern Portugal. In our panoramic city tour, we will see the UNESCO protected historic fabric and iconic buildings of the city. Our tour will begin as we proceed along Avenida dos Aliados, one of Porto's widest boulevards, characterized by granite stone historical buildings and the municipal palace's view. We will continue with a view of São Bento Train Station from the outside, where the interior walls showcase blue and white azulejo tiles depicting scenes from Portuguese history. Next, we will see Porto Cathedral (Sé do Porto) from a panoramic viewpoint. Located on one of the highest points in the city, this area is one of the best spots for photographing the historic center of Porto. We will then proceed through the Ribeira Neighborhood with its narrow streets and traditional houses. Afterwards, we will see the iconic Luís I Bridge panoramically, whose iron structure forms one of the most recognized silhouettes of the city. From this point, we will reach Clérigos Tower and the Livraria Lello area, where the tower will be viewed panoramically and Lello’s facade can be photographed. We will conclude the tour by viewing Bolhão Market and its surrounding commercial axis, where we can observe Porto's daily life. After the Porto Masterpieces Tour, we will have a short free time, and then continue to the airport. Upon arriving at the airport, we will complete our ticket, baggage check-in, and passport control procedures before boarding our direct and scheduled SunExpress flight XQ849 to Izmir at 16:45. We will arrive at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport at 23:05 Turkish time, concluding our tour.
