Day 1 Istanbul – Barcelona
Meeting 3 hours before the flight at the Turkish Airlines counter in the international departures terminal of Istanbul Airport. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Barcelona on Turkish Airlines flight TK1853 at 07:55. Upon arrival at 10:35 local time, our panoramic city tour begins with the vehicle waiting for us at the airport. Barcelona is a world-renowned city as Spain’s second-largest city and the vibrant, fascinating capital of the Catalonia region. Bathed by the warm waters of the Mediterranean, this magnificent city offers a unique blend of history, art, culture, and entertainment. With its magnificent architecture, colorful streets, delicious cuisine, and lively nightlife, Barcelona attracts millions of visitors every year. The city is like an open-air museum adorned with the unique works of Antoni Gaudí. During our city tour in this beautiful city, places to be seen include the Sagrada Familia Church, the Christopher Columbus Monument, Montjuïc Hill, La Rambla Street, Spain and Catalunya Squares, the Bullring, and the Olympic Port. Day 2 Barcelona – Girona & Figueras (Dali Museum) – Barcelona
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Tour of the Pearls of Northern Catalonia (Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum). (70 Euro) Our first stop on the tour is Girona. Located in northeastern Catalonia, about 100 kilometers north of Barcelona, Girona is a historic city famous for its medieval narrow streets, historical buildings, museums, churches, and city walls. During our tour here, the Lion Statue, Cathedral Square, and the famous Jewish Quarter (El Call) will be among the places to be seen. After the tour, we head to Figueres. Figueres is a city located northeast of Girona and known as the birthplace of Salvador Dalí. The city is closely associated with the life and works of the famous Spanish painter Salvador Dalí. The most important tourist attraction in Figueres is the Salvador Dalí Museum. Dalí founded this museum here to leave something in the place where he was born and to exhibit his works. Today, it has the largest Dalí collection, and since every part of it was designed by Dalí, it is considered Dalí’s greatest work. The museum contains more than 4,000 works created by Dalí using different techniques. After the tour, we return to Barcelona. Guests who wish may also join the optional Gaudí’s Magnificent Masterpiece (Park Güell) & Gothic Quarter tour. (50 Euro) Our first stop is Park Güell. One of Antoni Gaudí’s magnificent works, Park Güell is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Known as a fairy-tale park, it creates a magical atmosphere with its colorful stairways and imaginative pavilions. After seeing this wonderful work by Gaudí, our second stop is the Gothic Quarter. In the Gothic Quarter, you can feel the enchanting atmosphere of the Middle Ages and admire the historical texture through its narrow and labyrinth-like streets, Gothic churches, romantic squares, and Roman walls. Among the most important structures in the district are Barcelona Cathedral, Plaça Reial (Royal Square), Plaça del Rei (King’s Square), and La Rambla. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Day 3 Barcelona – Valencia
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Valencia. Valencia is a historic and modern city on Spain’s eastern coast, surrounded by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean. As Spain’s third-largest city, Valencia attracts visitors with its rich history, culture, and art. Upon arrival, during our city tour we will see the City Hall, Gothic Cathedral, Bullring, Museum of Arts and Sciences, the historic Mercado Central, and the Old Silk Exchange. After the tour, transfer to our hotel, check-in, and free time. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Valencia – Granada
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Granada. Granada is a history- and culture-filled city in the heart of the Andalusia region. Granada is famous for its historical heritage, music and dance, breathtaking views, and the Alhambra Palace. The city is one of Spain’s leading tourist destinations and welcomes millions of visitors every year. During our city tour here, places to be seen include Gran Via Street, BibRambla and City Hall Squares, Granada Cathedral (from outside), Madraza, Granada’s first university, the Silk Market, and the old Nasrid Caravanserai. After the tour, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Alhambra Palace Tour. (70 Euro) (There is a daily visitor limit at the Alhambra Palace, and our visit may also be carried out without the harem section depending on availability. It is very important that you inform your agency at the time of reservation whether you will participate in this tour.) One of Granada’s greatest treasures, the Alhambra Palace is one of the most impressive and striking examples of Andalusian Islamic architecture. One of Spain’s most visited historical sites, the Alhambra is on the UNESCO World Heritage List and has gained worldwide fame. This famous structure was begun in the 13th century as a fortress and palace on the plateau of Sabika Hill overlooking Granada, and construction continued until the 15th century. Due to the red color it takes from the red earth used in its construction, it was named Alhambra, meaning “the Red.” After the tour, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Neighborhoods (Albaicín and Sacromonte Gypsy Quarter) tour. (45 Euro) Albaicín is a historic and fascinating neighborhood of Granada. This UNESCO World Heritage area is famous for its narrow streets, whitewashed houses, and scenic hills. It bears traces of Andalusian Islamic culture and architecture and reflects Granada’s history. After the tour here, we will watch a Gypsy show and observe their lifestyle in fully handmade cave dwellings, accompanied by a drink. After the tour, return to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 Granada – Sevilla – Cordoba – Sevilla
After an early breakfast at the hotel, we depart for Sevilla. The capital of Andalusia, Sevilla, is our next stop. Sevilla is a historic and culturally rich city in Spain’s Andalusia region. Located on the banks of the Guadalquivir River, our city tour in Sevilla will first include Maria Luisa Park, where Plaza de España and Plaza América are located; the Sevilla Cathedral, the third largest cathedral in the world, which also contains the tomb of Christopher Columbus (from outside); and next to the cathedral, the Giralda Minaret, the only surviving part of the mosque on which the cathedral was built, preserving the memory of the Umayyad State of Andalusia. The Alcázar, the palace of the Castilian kings (from outside), will also be among the places seen. Then, passing through the Archive of the Indies, where all sea voyages to the American continent until the 19th century were recorded, we will reach the narrow old streets of Santa Cruz, known as “old” Sevilla. At the end of our walk, after seeing Torre del Oro, or the Golden Tower, formerly used as the central campus of Sevilla University, an old tobacco factory and today a naval museum, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Cordoba tour. (55 Euro) Cordoba is a historic city in the Andalusia region of Spain. It is famous for its historical and cultural richness, impressive architecture, and structures bearing traces of Andalusian Islamic culture. Cordoba is one of the oldest and most beautiful cities in Spain. After a 1.5-hour journey, we reach Cordoba, where the Guadalquivir River greets us first. We will enter the city by walking across the historic Roman bridge and passing through the Roman gate. The city’s most magnificent structure, one of the largest mosques in the world, the Great Mosque of Cordoba, rising on 850 columns, will be visited, and our guide will share impressive information as we witness the grandeur of this remarkable work. After our tour of the Mosque of Cordoba, we will continue on foot and see the clean old streets, the old inn reflecting all the finesse of Andalusian architecture, and Cordoba’s houses. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Sevilla. In the evening, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Flamenco Fire Tour. (55 Euro) Sevilla is one of the birthplaces of flamenco and is considered one of Spain’s most important centers for flamenco culture. The city is famous for traditional flamenco performances, dance studios, and flamenco festivals and events. At our Flamenco night, you will be mesmerized while watching flamenco dancers. Day 6 Sevilla – Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, we head to Madrid. The capital of Spain, Madrid, with its deep-rooted history and cultural richness, is one of the most visited cities in Spain. During our city tour here, we will first see the Bullring (from outside), Alcalá Gate and Independence Square, Cibeles Monument, the famous Gran Via, Bernabeu Stadium, Plaza Castilla, Atocha Train Station, the famous Prado Museum (from outside), Plaza de España with the statues of Don Quixote and Sancho Panza, the Royal Palace (from outside), the 9-gated Plaza Mayor, and Sol Square. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 7 Madrid – Toledo & Segovia – Las Rozas – Madrid
After breakfast at the hotel, guests who wish may join the optional Magnificent Toledo Tour (65 Euro) and Magnificent Segovia & Las Rozas Outlet Tour (60 Euro). (These tours will be carried out in the order deemed appropriate by our guide.) Located about 70 kilometers from Madrid, Toledo is a historic city protected by UNESCO, home to the traces of different cultures of the Iberian Peninsula, including Roman, Visigothic, Muslim, and Christian civilizations. It is known for its magnificent medieval architecture and cultural heritage. During our tour in this open-air museum city, we will see the historic narrow streets, Toledo Cathedral, the oldest cathedral in Spain (from outside), churches converted from Andalusian mosques, and many more wonders. After the tour, our second stop is Segovia. Located on the banks of the Tagus River, Segovia is known for its impressive medieval architecture and rich cultural heritage. During our city tour here, we will see the 2,000-year-old engineering marvel Segovia Aqueduct, 15 km long and 28 meters high; Segovia Cathedral; the castle towers that inspired the Disney logo; Alcázar Palace (from outside); the old streets; and the Jewish quarter. After the tour, we take a short journey to Las Rozas, where you can find discounted products from Spain’s and the world’s leading fashion brands. After the tour, transfer to our hotel in Madrid. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8 Madrid – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport at the time determined by the guide. After baggage, ticket, and passport procedures, departure to Istanbul on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1358 at 14:30. Arrival at 19:55 local time and end of the tour.
