ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – SIENA – ROME We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight to complete our ticket, baggage check-in, and passport procedures, then we fly to Bologna on Pegasus Airlines flight PC1217 at 12:40. We arrive in Bologna at 14:20 local time and then move to Siena with our private bus waiting for us. Siena is famous for its narrow streets, small alleys, and Campo Square, which is considered the largest square in Europe. After a pleasant tour of Campo Square and the narrow historic streets leading to this square in Siena, we head towards our hotel in the Rome area. Upon arrival at the hotel, we check into our rooms and have some free time to rest. ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Local Neighborhoods Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euros). Our first visit will be Nemi, known for its mountain strawberries and hosting a strawberry festival each year. After exploring the narrow streets leading to the squares and enjoying the breathtaking views of the lake and valley, we continue to Rome, known as Urbs caput mundi, meaning “the city at the center of the world.” Here, we will embark on a historical journey through art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine, with remarkable buildings from ancient times to the Renaissance. The works of architects drawing thousands of tourists each season will captivate you, and Rome’s beauty can accommodate even large crowds effortlessly. Among the key sights we will see are the Colosseum, which became a symbol of the city and hosted gladiator fights during the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, where state ceremonies took place, the Trevi Fountain, which is believed to ensure a return to Rome for those who toss coins into it, the famous Spanish Steps, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo. After the tour, we will have free time in the city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests who wish can join the optional Vatican and Local Neighborhoods Tour (65 Euros). Starting with a visit to Castel Sant'Angelo, we then explore the Vatican/San Pietro, the center of the Catholic Church and the smallest country in the world in terms of area. San Pietro Square, where thousands of Catholics gather to worship and where the Pope greets the public on special occasions, features St. Peter's Basilica, the largest cathedral in the world with 140 statues of saints. After some free time at San Pietro Square, we will start our Local Neighborhoods tour. In this tour, we will feel like true residents of Rome as we mingle with the locals, visiting Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and Getto – areas filled with small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and charming little shops to enjoy the authentic Italian atmosphere. After wandering through the labyrinthine back streets with small tables set out, we will complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome area. ROME – NAPLES – (Amalfi Jewel Sorrento or Pompeii Tour with Lunch) – ROME After breakfast, we head to Naples. Upon our arrival in Naples, we will conduct a panoramic city tour, with sights including Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. After the city tour, we will offer free time, during which guests can join the optional Lunch included Pompeii Tour (80 Euros). Our tour starts with lunch at a local restaurant, followed by a visit to Pompeii, located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, which destroyed the city in AD 79. After archeologists uncovered this ancient city in 1748, it was brought back to life. We will complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii. Alternatively, guests can choose to join the optional Amalfi Jewel Sorrento Tour (80 Euros). We will discover Sorrento, renowned for its prehistorical heritage and combining Italian character with Mediterranean charm, small tourist boutiques, dazzling coastlines, breathtaking views, and the famous Italian lemon liqueur, Limoncello, offering free time after our exploration of the area. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome area. ROME – (San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head towards Florence. Along the way, guests wishing to join the optional San Gimignano Tour (50 Euros) can do so. Known for preserving its medieval architecture and appearance, UNESCO World Heritage Site San Gimignano is also referred to as the “Beautiful Tower Town” thanks to its 14 architectural marvels that survived the ravages of war and natural disasters. After visiting its 14 majestic towers in its main square, we continue our journey to Florence and embark on a city tour upon arrival. In Florence, the capital of the Renaissance and the hometown of Pinocchio, we will first see the remarkable Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral with its orange dome, the fourth largest cathedral in Europe. The most notable feature of the cathedral is the bronze door known as the 'Gate of Paradise,' which depicts the stories of prophets included in the Quran. We will also see Giotto's Bell Tower, originally used to invite citizens to parliament and the historic Signoria Square, home to Michelangelo's famous David statue, and the famous Ponte Vecchio with its antique shops and jewelers. After the city tour of Florence, we head to Pisa. In Pisa, we will tour the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Miracoli Square. Following a short free time for photo opportunities, we transfer to our hotel in the Florence area. After checking in, we have some free time to rest. FLORENCE – (Cinque Terre Tour by Train) – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – MILAN After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head towards Milan. Guests wishing to join the optional Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euros) can do so. Cinque Terre, renowned for its colorful houses, terraced slopes parallel to the coast, and coastal villages, is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The area offers easy access between the villages through hiking trails and train connections. We will complete our tour with an exploration of one of the five villages that give Cinque Terre its name, before continuing our journey to Milan. Guests wishing to join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euros) can do so along the way. Portofino, surrounded by colorful houses, has been an inspiration for songs with its charming narrow streets and turquoise Mediterranean views. After our visit to Portofino, we resume our journey to Milan. Upon arrival at the hotel in Milan, we check in and have some free time to rest. MILAN – (Milan Masterpieces Tour) – COMO – (Lugano Tour) – OUTLET After breakfast, we head to Como. Guests wishing to join the optional Milan Masterpieces Tour (55 Euros) can do so. Milan, known as one of Europe's fashion capitals, is also famous for its cuisine, opera, and churches. During our tour in Milan, we will see notable places including the renowned opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romana. After completing our tour, we continue our journey to Como. Upon arrival, we will visit the famous Lake Como, which hosts luxury homes of Hollywood stars and European high society, and take a photo break to enjoy its unique scenery. After some free time in Como, we move towards the outlet center for shopping. Guests wishing to join the optional Lugano Tour (45 Euros) can do so on the way. During this tour, we will enjoy a peaceful walk along the beautiful Lake Lugano, located within Switzerland, appreciating its stunning nature and taking photos of the magnificent scenery. After the tour, we continue to the outlet center, which is home to many prestigious brands, chic shops, cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas. After delightful free time for quality shopping at affordable prices, we return to our hotel in the Milan area for a restful evening. MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat) After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head towards our hotel in the Venice area. Guests wishing to join the optional Verona Tour (50 Euros) can do so along the way. Verona, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to Italy’s second largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and the famous house of Juliet from Shakespeare’s renowned tale of love. After enjoying a panoramic tour that includes a walk around the main Piazza and Erbe Square lined with many shops, cafes, and stalls, we continue our journey to the Venice area. Guests wishing to join the optional Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat (125 Euros – Vaporetto transport fees included) can do so. In Venice, our tour will first take us to San Marco Square, San Marco Basilica, the impressive Ducal Palace, the Clock Tower, and the famous Bridge of Sighs, and we will then take a pleasant walk through the enchanting streets linked by canals. Following this, we will explore the colorful islands with a tour that allows us to observe Venice from the lagoons, visiting Lido and Murano islands, as well as the picturesque fishermen's village of Burano Island, known for its lacework. After our tour, we arrive at our hotel in the Venice area, check in, and enjoy some free time to relax. VENICE – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, we head to Bologna Airport for our flight to Istanbul at the time indicated by our guide. Upon arrival at the airport, we complete our baggage check-in, ticketing, and passport control procedures before flying back to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines flight PC1218 at 15:25. We land at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport at 18:55 Turkey time, concluding our tour.
