ISTANBUL – BOLOGNA – SIENA – ROME We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal 3 hours before our flight to complete our ticket, baggage check-in, and passport procedures. Then we fly to Bologna on Pegasus Airlines flight PC1217, departing at 12:40 PM. We arrive in Bologna at 2:20 PM local time and then head to Siena with our private bus. Siena is famous for its narrow streets, small alleys from the Middle Ages, and the Campo Square, which is considered one of the largest squares in Europe. After a pleasant tour in Siena, visiting Campo Square and the narrow historical streets leading to it, we set off for our hotel in the Rome area. After checking into the hotel and settling into the rooms, we have leisure time to relax. ROME – (Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour) – (Vatican and Local Neighborhoods of Rome Tour) After breakfast, we offer a full day of free time. Guests who wish can join the optional Rome Icons & Nemi Strawberry Village Tour (85 Euro). Our first visit will be to Nemi. Known for its wild strawberries and referred to as the "Strawberry Village," Nemi hosts an annual strawberry festival. After a surrounding tour in Nemi, where narrow streets open to squares and the enchanting view of the lake and valley combines with the scent of strawberries in the air, we take you on a historical journey through Rome, called Urbs caput mundi or "the city at the center of the world." Rome presents you with art, history, music, shopping, sunshine, and cuisine, with buildings from various styles that span from ancient to Renaissance. As the masterpieces of competing architects attract thousands of tourists year-round, Rome is capable of accommodating these crowds without overwhelming its visitors. The highlights of our tour include the Colosseum, which became the symbol of the city and hosted gladiatorial fights throughout the Roman Empire, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain where it is believed that tossing a coin ensures your return to Rome, the famous Spanish Steps adorned with street performers, Piazza Pietra, and Piazza Popolo will be seen panoramically. After the tour ends, we offer free time in the city center at the Pantheon. During this free time, guests can join the optional Vatican and Local Neighborhoods of Rome Tour (65 Euro). We start our tour by viewing Castel Sant’Angelo – the Castle of Angels and Piazza Navona, then we visit Vatican/San Pietro, the center of the Christian Catholic denomination, which is the smallest country in the world by area. We have free time in St. Peter's Square (Piazza San Pietro), where thousands of Catholics gather to pray and where the Pope greets the public from his balcony on special occasions; the St. Peter's Basilica, which houses the statues of 140 saints and is the largest cathedral in the world, is located here. After the offered free time, we start our tour of Local Neighborhoods in Rome. We immerse ourselves into the local life, feeling like citizens of the city, with this tour showing us the true Italian atmosphere along with cafes, small family restaurants, boutiques, greengrocers, butchers, and many other small and charming shops in the Trastevere, Piazza Trilussa, Ponte Sisto, and the Ghetto regions, which are connected to the city by two bridges. After our walking tour through the maze-like narrow streets with small tables set up, we complete our tour and return to our hotel in the Rome area. ROME – NAPLES – (Amalfi Pearl Sorrento or Lunch Included Pompeii Tour) – ROME After breakfast, we head to Naples. Upon our arrival in Naples, we will conduct a panoramic city tour, including sites such as Castel Nuovo, Palazzo Reale di Napoli, Galleria Umberto, Teatro di San Carlo, Via Toledo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Basilica Reale Pontificia San Francesco da Paola. After the city tour, we offer guests the option to join the Lunch Included Pompeii Tour (80 Euro). This tour starts with a lunch at a local restaurant, followed by our visit to Pompeii, located at the foot of Mount Vesuvius, which erupted in 79 AD, destroying the city. The city was unearthed following long-lasting excavations by archaeologists beginning in 1748. We complete our tour with a visit to the ancient city of Pompeii. Alternatively, guests can participate in the optional Amalfi Pearl Sorrento Tour (80 Euro). Sorrento, located on the Amalfi Coast, is celebrated for its prehistoric history, combining Italian character and charm with Mediterranean style. Known for its small tourist shops, stunning beaches, breathtaking views, and the Italian lemon liqueur Limoncello, we will explore the town and provide some free time. After the tour, we return to our hotel in the Rome area. ROME – (San Gimignano Tour) – PISA – FLORENCE After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we head to Florence. On the way, guests can opt for the San Gimignano Tour (50 Euro). San Gimignano is on the UNESCO World Heritage List for preserving its medieval architecture and appearance to this day. Surviving wars and natural disasters, 14 architectural marvels of the town managed to remain standing, so it is also known as the "Beautiful Towers Town". We take a surrounding tour in the squares, where we can see panoramically the 14 majestic towers that open to the town square, feeling as if time has stopped and we have taken a journey back to the Middle Ages. After our tour, we continue our journey to Florence and upon arrival, we conduct the city tour. In Florence, the birthplace of the Renaissance and Pinocchio, our city tour includes visiting the Santa Maria Del Fiore Cathedral, immediately recognizable by its orange dome and the fourth largest cathedral in Europe, from the outside. One of the cathedral's most notable features is the bronze doors known as the ‘Gates of Paradise’, depicting stories of prophets mentioned in the Quran. We will also see Giotto’s Bell Tower, which was used for calling the public to parliament in the past, the Piazzale della Signoria, which was the political and social center of Florence for centuries and features Michelangelo’s famous David statue, and the Old Bridge (Ponte Vecchio), renowned for its antique and jewelery shops. After the city tour of Florence, we move on to Pisa. Upon arrival in Pisa, we will conduct our tour, which will include the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Cathedral, the Baptistery, and the Miracoli Square. We will have a short free time for a photo break and then transfer to our hotel in the Florence area. After arriving at the hotel, we check into our rooms and have free time to relax. FLORENCE – (Cinque Terre Tour by Train) – (Portofino Tour by Boat) – MILAN After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we proceed to Milan. On the way, guests can opt for the Cinque Terre Tour by Train (65 Euro). Cinque Terre is located on the Ligurian coast of Italy and is known for its colorful houses, terraced slopes parallel to the coast, and coastal villages. Its narrow streets, coastal views, and preserved architecture are included on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The region allows easy access between villages via hiking trails and train connections. We will conduct a surrounding tour in one of the five villages that gave the name to Cinque Terre, then continue our journey to Milan. On the way, guests may choose to join the optional Portofino Tour by Boat (65 Euro). Portofino, which has inspired songs with its colorful houses, narrow streets, green hills, and stunning turquoise Mediterranean waters, offers breathtaking views that captivate visitors. After our visit to Portofino, we proceed to Milan. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Milan area, we check into our rooms and have leisure time to relax. MILAN – (Milan Masterpieces Tour) – COMO – (Lugano Tour) – OUTLET After breakfast, we head to Como. On the way, guests can opt for the Milan Masterpieces Tour (55 Euro). Milan, known as one of the fashion capitals of Europe, also stands out for its cuisine, opera, and churches. Although recognized as Italy’s business and financial capital, Milan is also the right address for dining and shopping experiences. During our tour, we will visit important sights including the famous opera house La Scala, Duomo Square and Cathedral, and Porta Romana. After this tour, we continue our journey to Como. Upon arrival, we will visit Lake Como, famous for hosting summer houses of European aristocrats and Hollywood celebrities, known for its luxury lifestyle and natural beauty, and take a photo break with the stunning lake view. After leisure time in Como, we move on to visit the outlet center. On the way, guests can join the optional Lugano (Switzerland) Tour (45 Euro). During this tour, we will enjoy a peaceful walk at Lake Lugano, located within Switzerland’s borders, which operates in accordance with its unique nature, amazing views, and city park, and we will take lovely photos, enjoying the stunning scenery. After the tour, we continue to the outlet center. Here, we offer delightful free time for quality shopping at affordable prices among numerous prestigious brand stores, cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas. Afterwards, we return to our hotel in the Milan area and offer leisure time to relax. MILAN – (Verona Tour) – VENICE – (Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat) After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we head towards our hotel in the Venice region. On the way, guests can opt for the Verona Tour (50 Euro). Included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, Verona also boasts Italy's second-largest amphitheater after the Colosseum and hosts the famous playwright Shakespeare's famous story, which tells the world’s most renowned love story, Romeo and Juliet. Walking through Via Mazzini (the main square) and Erbe Square, which is surrounded by numerous shops, cafes, and boutiques, we will have a panoramic tour in which we can also see Verona Cathedral. After completing this tour, we continue our journey to our hotel in the Venice region. Along the way, guests can join the optional Venice Masterpieces and Colorful Islands Tour by Boat (125 Euro – Includes Vaporetto transportation fees). In our tour in Venice, we will first visit the iconic Venice landmarks built from stone and marble, such as St. Mark's Square, St. Mark's Basilica, the Doge’s Palace designed as a symbol of power and grandeur, the Clock Tower, the Bridge of Sighs, and the historical Campanile Bell Tower, followed by a delightful walking tour through the charming narrow streets and canals connected by bridges. Our tour continues with the Colorful Islands program, where we’ll have the opportunity to observe Venice from different angles while sailing through the lagoons, seeing Lido and Murano Islands, and visiting Burano Island, known as one of the world’s ten most colorful places, famous for its laces. After the tour, we reach our hotel in the Venice region, check into our rooms, and have leisure time to relax. VENICE – BOLOGNA – ISTANBUL After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we head to Bologna Airport for our flight to Istanbul at the time specified by our guide. Once we arrive at the airport, we will complete our baggage check-in, ticket, and passport control procedures, and then fly to Istanbul on Pegasus Airlines flight PC1218 at 3:25 PM. We arrive at Sabiha Gökçen Airport in Istanbul at 6:55 PM and conclude our tour.
