DAY 01 ISTANBUL AIRPORT – GENOA
We meet at Istanbul Airport International Terminal at 04:10 in the morning, followed by departure to Nice at 07:10 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1813. We arrive in Nice at local time 09:10, after which we transfer to our ship docked at Genoa port. After completing the check-in procedures on the ship and settling into our cabins, we have free time. Our ship will depart from the port at 16:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 02 NAPLES
Our ship will dock at Naples port at 13:00. Guests who wish can join the “Sorrento & Capri Tour (Full Day)” organized by the guide for an additional fee. Sorrento is the birthplace of poet Torquato Tasso, a land of colors, home to mermaids, city of lemon and orange trees. Known for hosting the famous Soviet writer Maxim Gorky in the 1920s, Sorrento is a charming southern city where kindness and hospitality come together and have been passed down through generations. After our Sorrento tour, we will proceed to Capri. After a journey by fast ferry, we arrive at Capri Island. Places to visit in Capri include the town of Capri located above the harbor and the town of “Ana Capri” at the top of the hill, the Augustus Gardens and the shopping street. Those who wish can take a cable car from Ana Capri to the highest point of the island and enjoy a magnificent view. After the tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 20:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 03 MESSINA (TAORMINA)
Our ship will dock at Messina port at 09:00. After breakfast, we have free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the “Taormina Tour” organized by our guide for an additional fee. During this tour, we will visit the world-famous town of Taormina, passing through stunning hillside views. Notable places to see in Taormina include the Cathedral, Corvaia Palace, and the Roman Theatre (from outside) and Umberto Street. After some free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will leave the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 04 VALLETTA
Our ship will dock at Valletta port at 08:00. After breakfast, we have free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the "Mosta & Valletta & Mdina & Marsaxlokk Tour" organized by our guide for an additional fee. Our first stop will be Mosta. In this tour, we will visit the Santa Maria Assunta Basilica, which has the third largest dome in Europe. The dome has a diameter of 56.2 meters and the inside paintings are especially done by painter Giuseppe Cali. We will also see a replica of the 200 kg bomb that was dropped by German Nazi planes during World War II in 1942, which pierced the dome but did not explode, and learn about the architecture of the church. Next, we will visit Mdina, Malta's former capital, which has served as a natural set for many scenes from the famous series Game of Thrones. While walking through the narrow streets of this medieval city known as the Silent City, we will see the magnificent St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Falson Palace built by one of Malta’s noble families in the 13th century, the Carmelite Monastery built in Baroque style in the 17th century, Vilhena Palace, and the old houses of Mdina. We will continue our tour with a visit to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Don't miss the view offered by the Luzzo boats that have the unique color and design of Malta. Additionally, during our free time in this charming fishing village, guests may enjoy lunch at local restaurants with menus consisting of fresh fish and seafood. After our free time, we will head back to Valletta. We will carry out a city tour of Valletta, which was selected as the European Capital of Culture in 2018 by the European Union Council of Ministers. During our tour, we will have the opportunity to see the magnificent city of Valletta, surrounded by defensive walls, from the outside. After a bus tour, we will explore the lively streets of Valletta with our guide. Our first stop will be the Barracca Gardens, which were built on the upper part of the defensive walls surrounding this magnificent city. These gardens, made by the Knights of St. John, also offer a magnificent view of the Grand Harbor and the three ancient cities surrounded by walls. At the end of our tour, we return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 17:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 05 DAY AT SEA
This day will be spent sailing at sea, and our ship will provide you with many options. Those who wish can enjoy the open and closed pools, jacuzzis, and sunbathing areas of the ship. Others can shop from duty-free shops, try their luck at the casino, or enjoy various music and entertainment options at dozens of bars. A variety of dining options will also be waiting for you throughout the day. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 06 BARCELONA
Our ship will dock at Barcelona port at 08:00. After breakfast, we have free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the “Barcelona City Tour” organized by our guide for an additional fee. Our city tour in Barcelona, one of the most beautiful metropolises in Europe, will start with our private bus waiting for us at the port. The places we will see include La Rambla Street, Cristoforo Colombo Monument, Maremagnum Artificial Harbor, Barceloneta Beach, Olympic area and harbor, Catalunya Square, Paseu de Gracia Street with Gaudi's houses transformed into a street museum, and the most fundamental work of Gaudi, the Sagrada Familia. During our tour, we will climb Montjuic hill to take photos of the view. After free time for shopping, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 07 MARSEILLE
Our ship will dock at Marseille port at 07:00. After breakfast, we have free time for personal activities. Guests who wish can join the “Marseille & Aix En Provence Tour” organized by our guide for an additional fee. In this tour, after meeting with our guide, we will first go to Aix en Provence, which is 40 minutes away from Marseille. We will start with the famous St. Saviour’s Cathedral, which dates back to the 12th century with its Romanesque façade and covered arched pathway. Then, during a pleasant walking tour in the old district of the city, we will see the antique inns and the Mazarino quarter designed by Cardinal Mazarino’s brother in the 17th century. After a short break, we will return to the important maritime city of Marseille. Our visit will first begin with the “Notre Dame de la Garde Cathedral”, located on a high hill. After this visit, we will see places such as the Longchamps Fountain, Saint Charles train station, the old town, Hotel de Ville, and the harbor region during our tour. After some free time in the city center, we will return to our ship. Our ship will depart from the port at 18:00. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
DAY 08 GENOA – ISTANBUL AIRPORT
Our ship will dock at Genoa port at 08:00. After having breakfast, we will complete our ship disembarkation procedures and depart for Nice Airport with our waiting vehicle. After completing our check-in procedures, we will depart at 14:55 on Turkish Airlines flight TK1896. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at local time 18:55. End of our tour.
