ISTANBUL – MADRID We will meet at the Istanbul Airport's International Terminal 3 hours before our flight to complete the baggage check-in, check-in, and passport control procedures, then we will fly to Madrid at 10:00 AM on Turkish Airlines flight TK1357. We will arrive at Madrid Barajas Airport at 13:35 local time, and then we will depart with our private vehicle waiting at the airport for the Segovia tour. Segovia, which stands out with its historical heritage and was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985, is considered one of the most beautiful and special cities in Spain with its narrow streets, historic squares, and magnificent monuments. The major attractions during our panoramic city tour include the Roman Aqueduct, which has stood in the city center since the 2nd century, the Segovia Cathedral, known for its elegant architecture, and the beautiful Segovia Castle (Alcazar de Segovia), which inspired fairy tale castles. After the city tour, we will have free time before departing for our hotel in the Madrid area. Upon arrival at our hotel, we will check into our rooms and have free time to rest. MADRID – (Madrid Masterpieces and Toledo Tour) – VALENCIA After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will head towards Valencia. Guests who wish can join the optional Madrid Masterpieces and Toledo Tour (90 Euro) along the way. First, we will reach the city center of Madrid and organize our Madrid Masterpieces Tour program. Madrid, the capital of Spain and also the third-largest city in the European Union, is regarded as the country’s political, economic, and cultural center. During our city tour, we will see Plaza Mayor, Paseo de la Castellana, the bullfighting arena, Gran Via, Plaza de España, the Royal Palace, and Puerto de Alcalá panoramically. After the Madrid Masterpieces Tour, we will arrive at Toledo, our second visit point. Established in 590 BC by Jews, Toledo is one of the most important cities in Spain in terms of its historical and tourist significance, known as the “city of knights,” where people of three major faiths have coexisted peacefully. The largest river of the Iberian Peninsula, the Tajo, flows through the city. The city served as the capital of the Kingdom of Spain for a long time. It has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List for being one of the largest medieval cities in the world and is under protection. Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, was born in this city. We will panormically see the Toledo Cathedral, which took about 270 years to build, once a mosque and now the third most important cathedral in the world, along with the San Martin Bridge, Damasquinos (Damascus work), workshops and shops for golden craftsmanship during our tour. After the tour, we will continue our journey to Valencia. Upon arrival at our hotel in the Valencia region, we will check into our rooms and have free time to rest. VALENCIA – (Valencia Masterpieces Tour with Paella Lunch) – BARCELONA After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will head to Barcelona. Guests who wish can join the optional Valencia Masterpieces Tour with Paella Lunch (65 Euro) along the way. During our tour, we will see the Gothic Cathedral, Valencia Cathedral, the medieval walls surrounding the old city, the Torres de Serranos, the Reina Plaza, the Marques de dos Aguas Palace, and the Town Hall Square. In Valencia, the homeland of the world-famous Paella, after having lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit the Valencia Central Market, considered the largest indoor fresh food market in Europe, which is impressive with its large dome and colorful glass panels, and offers visitors a wonderful culinary and visual experience as a real market where locals do their daily shopping. Afterward, we will provide free time for personal activities and for exploring the surroundings. During this free time, guests may also enjoy the beach, sand, and sun at Valencia’s shores. We will continue our journey to Barcelona at the time specified by our guide. After arriving at our hotel in the Barcelona region, we will check into our rooms and have free time to rest. BARCELONA – (Barcelona Icons Tour) – (Barcelona Local Neighborhoods Tour) – (Fiesta Barcelona Tour) After breakfast, we have a free day. During this free time, guests who wish can join the optional Barcelona Icons Tour (65 Euro). Our tour will first take us to Carmel Hill, where we can enjoy the spectacular view of the city, then we will visit Park Guell, designed and constructed by Antoni Gaudi. “entrance fee included” In 1984, the park was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage List and with its vibrant colors and nature-inspired figures, it takes visitors to a fairy tale realm, after which we will have free time for photos and surrounding exploration. Then we will see Casa Mila (Gaudi's House), one of Gaudi’s most important architectural contributions, and take a walk around La Sagrada Familia to conclude our tour. After the tour, there will be free time in the city center, and guests who wish can join the optional Barcelona Local Neighborhoods Tour (45 Euro). This tour will cover the Barcelona Cathedral, Paral-lel and Gothic neighborhoods, El Born, City Hall, Plaza Real, and the market - La Boqueria. After this tour, there will be free time, and guests can also opt for the optional Fiesta Barcelona Tour (55 Euro). This tour includes visiting Poble Espanyol, an open-air museum and festival village concept created for the World Fair in 1929, where typical examples of architecture from different regions of Spain, craft workshops, art works, and traditional cultural elements are brought together. Throughout the year, various music, dance, street performances, and cultural activities are showcased, and it hosts restaurants offering visitors a unique experience to see all the characteristic elements of Spain. Following our visit to Poble Espanyol and the free time we will have after that, we will return to our hotel in the Barcelona area. BARCELONA – (Girona & Figueres & Dali Museum Tour) – (Flamenco Show) After breakfast, we will offer a full day of free time. During this free time, guests who wish can join the optional Girona & Figueres & Dali Museum Tour (85 Euro). Our first stop will be Girona, Catalonia’s largest city, known for its museums, galleries, Gothic-style architectural works, and narrow, labyrinthine streets rising around its walls that enchant visitors. During our visit to Girona, we will see the colorful houses along the Onyar River, take photos, and walk along the traffic-free Libertat Street that leads to the old town square, with narrow streets branching out like a labyrinth. Our exploration in a city with a history of Christians, Katalan Jews, and Muslims coexisting together will include a panoramic view of Girona Cathedral, after which we will head to our next stop, the Dali Museum in Figueres. Upon a brief tour of Figueres, which is home to the museum Salvador Dali designed for his works, we will visit the Dali Museum (admission fee included in the tour price) and embark on an art tour of the 4,000 works of Dali housed in the museum, guided by our tour leader. After the tour, we will return to central Barcelona and offer free time. During this free time, guests who wish can join the optional Flamenco Show (60 Euro). After the world-renowned Flamenco show, known as the outcry of the lower class to the upper class, we will return to our hotel in the Barcelona area. BARCELONA – OUTLET – ISTANBUL After breakfast and checking out from the hotel, we will move towards the outlet center for shopping. The outlet center, which is home to world-famous prestigious brands' chic stores, cafes, restaurants, and personal activity areas, will offer a pleasant free time for quality and affordable shopping until our return flight to Istanbul. After having a pleasant time at the outlet center, we will head to Barcelona Airport. Upon arriving at the airport, we will complete check-in, baggage check, and passport control procedures and then fly to Istanbul at 19:05 with Turkish Airlines flight TK1856. We will land at Istanbul Airport at 23:30 local time, and our tour comes to an end.
